Notts Forest forward Marcus Tudgay has agreed to join Barnsley on a 28 day loan. Tudgay whose contract expires at the end of this season is very keen to earn a new contract at Nottingham Forest and believes that going out and playing games in a good footballing Barnsley team will not only help Barnsley push on up the table but force his parent club to offer him an extended contract. “I am at Notts Forest player and nothing would please me more than extending my contract here. I am not playing games at the moment though, and Barnsley are offering me that opportunity so for next 28 days I will be fully committed to doing my best for Barnsley football club. The future will take care of itself after that” Marcus was quoted as saying.
