On his return from a minor injury, Tyrell Sellars has made a big statement scoring a hat trick for the Hull U21 side.
Having been sidelined for 6 weeks due to an ankle injury Ty started for Hull City’s U21 side against Peterborough United in the Premier Professional Development League fixture yesterday afternoon. The 19 year old Centre Forward registered his first goal of the game in the 36th minute and only two minutes later he found the back of the net again! The young Tigers went into the break with a 3-1 lead. Ty who played the full 90 minutes managed to grab his hat trick in the last moments of the game with a terrific curling finish into the top right corner of the net, sealing a 4-1 victory.
Ty had been involved in the first team squads for the Championship side and registered his first start of the season, against Sheffield Wednesday, in their EFL cup clash. With performances like this it’s hard to not be excited about Ty’s future as we closely watch his development!
Well done Ty!
