Daniel Johnson, Jamaican international, has secured a move to Turkish side Faith Karagumruk and is reunited with ex Stoke City team-mate Wesley.
The 31 year old midfielder terminated his contract with Stoke City by mutual consent before the end of the summer 2024 transfer window, after spending a season with the EFL Championship side. Daniel Johnson has now signed a 2-year deal with Istanbul based club, Faith Karagumruk, and is set to make his debut against MKE Ankaragücü on Sunday 15th September.
“Johnson’s performances for Preston North End had attracted our attention” stated Karagumruk.
Daniel’s key stats included scoring 57 times, assisting a further 38 goals and an impressive 336 appearances for the Lilywhites.
