Oldham Athletic have made an impressive start with their opening game of the season against Braintree.
21 year old Welsh international midfielder, Oli Hammond had a superb game, playing the full 90 minutes.
Following the match Oli took part in a club interview discussing his role in the team and reflection on their opening game.
Hammond said “After a great performance like last weekend you just can’t wait to get out there again and try and replicate it” he added that he was really pleased to be able to showcase what the team had been working on in pre-season and the togetherness of the team. Playing down the middle in midfield Oli is pleased with the positioning, the energy and levels of experience which clearly showed in the team performance.
