Manchester City are crowned Premier League champions for a record breaking the fourth time consecutively in a row!
Are Man City becoming untouchable? They lift the Premier League trophy for the fourth time in a row and Arsenal are left runners up by two points it leaves football fans across the country wondering if Pep’s team are in a league of their own.
However, many of the headlines outside of the city are still questioning the financial charges bought against the club which were raised 15 months ago and have still not been settled. One thing that cannot be argued though, is the world class quality of their football on the pitch.
The final game of the season bought the Hammers to the Etihad Stadium and Man City ended the hopes of Arsenal winning at the last hurdle. City won the final game of the season 3-1 with a brace from Man of the Match, Phil Foden.
Guardiola’s team is brimming with world class talent and he only made one change to his team, however, we were delighted to know that young goalkeeper True Grant, 18, was called up to the squad and was their third choice goalkeeper for the fixture. True, who was part of the winning team for the Man City FA Youth Cup, has been involved previously with the first team squad in a Champions League fixture in December. This was an unbelievable experience for True as he was part of both the preparations and the celebrations on the final day of the season and lifting the Premier League Trophy.
Congratulations again to the Blues!
