DJ Strikes Again

21 October 2020

Preston North End midfielder, Daniel Johnson, has opened his scoresheet for the 20/21 season with yet another text book perfect penalty.

After missing the opening four games of the season DJ was back to play against QPR at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Johnson was as calm as ever when talking the spot kick and sent keeper Seny Dieng the wrong way as the ball rolled into the back of the net.

As soon as the Lilllywhites took the lead they played with confidence and were undoubtedly the better side on the night. A second penalty secured the three points and a clean sheet.

Preston have had a rocky start but with Johnson back fit to play hopefully his leadership on the pitch can help Preston pick up the pace in the run up to the international break.
