Alexander Jakobsen’s goal and assist for IFK Norrköping yesterday were instrumental in the teams victory over Kalmar FF.
The Danish born Egyptian moved to the top Swedish Division club, Norrköping, in the summer of 2017 from Danish Super Liga side Viborg FF.
Alexander had an exceptional game showing his vision, skillful footwork and team skills throughout. Kalmar took the lead early on in the 9th minute with a goal from Elm but the perfect response from Norrköping saw Jakobsen’s strike across the goal beat the keeper to find the back of the net only 2 minutes later. The link ups seen between Jakobsen and Karlsson was evidenced throughout the game and by assisting each other to get on the scoresheet. The game finished 3-1 after substitute Larsson scored in the third minute of injury time.
Norrköping have started the season confidently and shown some great talent and teamwork on the pitch which we look forward to seeing more of. Following the 3-1 win yesterday Norrköping sit second in the division only by goal difference.
