Justin Shaibu joined Brentford in the Summer of 2016 from Danish club HB Køge. The 19 year old striker who has represented Denmark at U18 level made his first team League debut against Rotherham this weekend, after only his second call up into the first team squad. Shaibu came on in the 77th minute and the scoreline was 1 – 1, however Brentford went on to win 4 – 2 with Shaibu contributing to the victory by forcing a penalty from a handball which Jota turned in for his second goal of the game.
Brentford manager, Dean Smith, believes the young Dane will have a bright future, “He’s got raw power. He has pace, power and he can finish too”.
