Kenneth Zohore, the 21 year old Danish international moved to Cardiff City FC on loan from K.V.Kortrijk in January 2016.
Kenneth has played at excellent European clubs including FC Copenhagen and Fiorentina and has made 57 appearances for the Danish national team ranging from U17 – U21.
Since his move to Cardiff, Kenneth has settled well into the UK and has thrown himself into training with the Bluebirds. Kenneth has expressed how much he is enjoying being at Cardiff City FC and he has adapted quickly to life in the UK and with the Bluebirds where he feels very settled.
Kenneth has been used as a sub on 9 occasions since February, and it is widely thought that this has been due to Cardiff’s form during this period. Cardiff had a great run from mid January up to the beginning of April when they won 7, drew 5 and only lost 2. Their last three performances have only gained them 1 point and have allowed the gap to widen between themselves and Sheffield Wednesday play offs this season an almost impossible task.
The game on Tuesday against Brentford saw 3 goals in less than 10 minutes and Zohore who came on in the 84th minute scored his first goal for Cardiff his presence noticeably lifted the team and created goal scoring opportunities.
It is noted that Kenneth’s presence on the pitch has a positive impact on the team and he creates some excellent threatening play, hopefully combined with his recent goal and his dedication to the club this will gain him more minutes on the pitch as we draw towards the end of the season.
