Daniel Johnson moved to Preston North End from Aston Villa in January 2015, and scored his first goal for them against Scunthorpe this weekend. Daniel’s goal was set up by his former Villa team mate Callum Robinson.
This is the Lillywhite’s third league win in a row and sees them sitting comfortably in 4th place in the table. Not only can they be pleased with the points but they have kept a clean sheet in all three games.
Simon Grayson’s team are focusing on the targets set at the start of season. They will look to maintain their performance and to continue to close the gap with the teams above them.
They face Walsall at home on Tuesday and play away to Oldham on Saturday.
