Last week was fantastic for Lee Grant, not only did Derby’s number 1 goalkeeper celebrate his birthday but he has also kept a clean sheet in three consecutive matches.
Derby County faced Chesterfield FC in the FA Cup and a 2 – 0 victory secured their place in the fith round. Only three days later the Rams beat Blackburn, again a superb 2 – 0 result at the iPro. Finishing the eight day period on another clean sheet and netting yet another two goals the Rams left Cardif with another three points. Before the Cardiff game Lee Grant called on his team mates to ‘maintain the momentum‘ and they have done just that.
