FCK young talent Danny Amankwaa has been rewarded for his continued progress at FC Copenhagen with a new improved contract. Danny has been a top young talent in Denmark for a number of years and is now starting to get more game time at 1st team level.
Danny 1st really excited us at PSM in a game for Denmark at U17 level against England in Serbia in May 2011. He really lit up the game and played with real joy. He played on the same side of the field as Raheem Sterling that day, but it was Danny’s star that shone brighter and the young Danes went on to win 2-0. In fairness Raheem went off injured after thirty-five minutes, and if Danny’s progress over the next 3 years is anything like Raheem’s has been over the last three we are sure he will be a happy young player.
For now he just wants to keep making positive progress, by absorbing information from the staff and players he works alongside at FCK and making a telling contribution on the field.
